    According to Esport Charts, three out of the five most watched esport events on Youtube Gaming were from mobile games in 2020.

    5G development represents a unique opportunity for mobile esports to grow and expand, with 57% of devices expected to support 5G by 2023.

    04. MARKET: BLOCKCHAIN GAMING

    Blockchain gaming continues to grow and dominate the nonfungible token (NFT) space with a share of roughly 22% of all NFT trading volume in the third quarter of 2021, according to a report released by the Blockchain Gaming Alliance, or BGA.

    The report showed that NFT games accumulated $2.32 billion in revenue between July and September.

    05. TEAM QUESO: INTRODUCTION

    HISTORY

    Founded in February 2017, Team Queso is a leading mobile esports team with a sizable audience in Spanish and LATAM markets. Since then, we have developed a strong and engaged community. Thanks to our founders we have a deep knowledge of the gaming scene, that we reinforce with organic content and focus on the community.

    We have succeeded in every mobile game we have competed in, always reaching worlds’ highest positions. We are now present in Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, PUBG Mobile and Wild Rift.

    On PC and console we have a competitive presence in Fortnite, League of Legends, Gears 5, Rocket League and Valorant. Most of them with a national focus but always looking for the opportunity to make the leap towards the international.

    In June 2020 we inaugurated our TV studio, since then we have made both own productions and third party events. Today, our competitions and contents are references in the international gaming community.

    2021 has been a year of evolution: alliance with FNATIC, developing video games and a rebranding looking to a promising future.

    Without previous experience in the esports industry, Alicia and Álvaro addressed in 2017 a personal project based on a deep knowledge of the community around mobile games. Five years later, they have more than 50 employees and they have positioned Team Queso as one of the best known esports teams at both national and international levels.

    With an unbreakable vision about the promising future of mobile games and the long way to go within esports, they dealt with the project with a strong commitment to content creation.

    They have always understood esports as an entertainment industry, focusing on achieving a sustainable and scalable business model, with the implementation of business management principles. The team has accomplished, with its own financing, to be mobile games leaders with engage rates comparable to the biggest organizations in the world.
